Pride 2.

Brothers and sisters, God hates pride, one of the seven things the Lord hates is pride. Scripture tells us we must be transformed to be Christlike, surrender and submit yourselves to the Holy Spirit so He can slowly deep clean you. Please note, the things of the Lord are slow.

Scripture declares, “The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, him I will not endure.” (Psalm 101:5). And Proverbs 6:16-17 says, “One of the six things the Lord hates is a proud look.”

Matthew 23:11-12 tell us, “He who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Please humble yourselves because pride is of the devil, humble yourselves so that the Lord can lift you up.

A story about King Nebuchadnezzar: (Daniel 4:30-37).

King Nebuchadnezzar said, with pride, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?”

Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven, “This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: your royal authority has been taken from you. You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is Sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone He wishes.”

Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. His body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.

The King later came back to his senses and humbled himself and praised the God of heaven and earth.

King Nebuchadnezzar raised his eyes towards heaven, and his sanity was restored. Then he praised the Most High; he honored and glorified Him who lives forever.

His dominion is an eternal dominion; His kingdom endures from generation to generation. All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing.
He does as He pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth.

Regarding your character, what have you been able to let go?

-Have you been able to let go of pride?

-Have you been able to let go of verbal abuse? Lies?

-Have you been able to let go of your condescending ways? Gossiping?

-Question, what have you been able to truly let go? (2nd Corinthians 5:17).

Please Transformed.
