(Matthew 11:28-30)
Brothers and sisters, are you struggling? Are you alone? Jesus Christ is willing to carry your burden, your worries, your concerns and much more. Please surrender to Him, submit to Him, and obey His commands. What is Jesus asking you to do? What is He saying you should stop doing? Please surrender your heart to our loving Father.
Scripture Affirm. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) (NIV).
The Lord is telling us to keep company with Him and you will learn to live freely and lightly, because He will take over your burden. The yoke is a gift, if we surrender and trust Him, also yield ourselves to the Lord, humbly do His will in our lives, and allow Him to guide and direct our lives (our steps) we will receive it freely.
Brothers and sisters, if you are tired and struggling, He can give you rest. Following Jesus frees us from carrying the burden of our own sins, worries, and troubles because He has already done the work, so all we need to do is put our faith, hope, and trust in Jesus. Also delight in the Lord because there are benefits, many benefits. For example, He will give you your heart desire.
We must also love the Lord our God, spend quality time with Him, pray more for yourselves and others.
Jesus is inviting you and I; His hands are always stretched out to you and me. Please accept His hands lovingly. This is an invitation by the One and only Jesus Christ, He can give you rest. All we need to do is put our faith, hope, and trust in Jesus. To take His yoke is to commit to Him and put ourselves under the protection and authority of Jesus Christ. Amen!
