Brothers and sisters, the Lord says we should go to Him and obtain mercy and grace in times of our needs, to receive compassion in our weakness and trials. Are we doing what the Scripture says? To obtain grace that meet your needs?
Our High Priest has perfect knowledge of the help that we need, this gives us the assurance that the help shall be given to us as the need be, please put your trust in Him.
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16) NKJV).
Let us approach Him, go near, visit Him, because of His perfect love, Jesus’ atonement for our sins is real and lasting. For this reason, we do not need to be afraid to enter God’s presence; in fact, we can have “confidence” when we approach God, we will “receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” “God’s grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in our weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:8-10).
For “once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” (1 Peter 2:10).
A Scholar, Erickson Millard Affirm. “The sufferings of Christ are an atonement for sins of mankind. The death was a real offering made by Christ to God. By this act God was once and for all made able to deal mercifully with humanity.”
“We have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him.” (Ephesians 3:12) “Jesus is able to save to the uttermost, those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for us.” (Hebrews 7:25). “So, we can confidently say, “The Lord is our Helper; we will not fear; what can man do to us?” (Hebrews 13:6).
Scripture advises us to “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let the wicked return to the Lord, that He may have compassion on him.” (Isaiah 55:6-7).
Amen!!
