Most of us still dwell in darkness, lost, and blinded in Satan’s territory. Satan covered the hearts of most individuals, so they are not able to see the Light, Jesus. Jesus declares, “I have come as a Light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.” (John 12:46).
To avoid living in darkness, we need to focus on Jesus, abide in Jesus, the True Vine, accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior. For Jesus says, “I am the Light of the world, he who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.” (John 8:12).
A Scholar, John Piper states, “Jesus speaks from God and for God and as God.”
The light of Christ, writes John Piper, “is the brightness of God shining on the retina of the human soul.” Life can be wonderful on earth, but not fully complete without Jesus. We are all created to crave for the Creator, our Father, and only through a relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ can the dark parts of our hearts brighten. I need Jesus to complete me, so I cling unto God who is the Light. Hallelujah!
The origin of (phos Greek word) for Light, describes how light makes manifest, evident, exposed, or clear.
Every darkness in our lives must manifest in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ and be cast out into the pit filled with snakes and scorpions, to be tormented day and night. Amen!
We need Jesus for guidance, so we do not go astray. Dwell in Him and Him in you. Think of what you cannot do without light, can you live in darkness, even though Jesus’ Light is spiritual, we need that in our lives, to lead us, and to guide us.
Jesus always guides our steps, so we do not fall into darkness, even when the evil one is around, Jesus informs us immediately by shining His Light or enabling us to see with spiritual eyes. He reveals because He loves us, and His Light shines upon every darkness. He also speaks to us through dreams, and through individuals, so we must trust in Him.
One beautiful evening, as I sat down reading outside my home, the Lord made it possible for me to see an evil spirit approaching me, so I immediately spoke the word of God. We need the light of life.
For example, without light one cannot drive at night, even to move around in our homes at night, we need light. Light is required for any vegetation to grow, and Jesus Christ was present at the creation of the world, as a master craftsman beside the Father. Jesus, the Author of Light has the full authority to illuminate in our hearts, in our lives. Praise the Lord.
Jesus said, He is the Light of the world, the world we live in, like God is omnipresent, so Jesus is Light, and in Him we see light, and through Him and His sacrificial death on the cross, for the sake of love, we are exposed to the light and of our sins. Hallelujah!! No more darkness.
We are to follow Him and His footsteps, so we do not go astray. “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of Living water.” (John 7:38). Let the Living water flow in you and through you. Please let the Holy Spirit speak to you and through you because you need Him for guidance, we live in a very dark world.
“The Good Shepherd laid down His life for us, His sheep.” (John 10:11) please be in His fold for protection, for “Jesus is the Door” (John 10:9) and the “High wall of fire that has surrounded us for a perfect protection.” (Zechariah 2:5).
Brothers and sisters, we must dwell in Jesus’ fold because “the enemy goes around like a roaring lion looking for whom he may devour” (1st Peter 5:8).
For in Him we have life, but also a promise of peace. Jesus says, They will come in and go out, and find pasture. That money cannot buy.
Brothers and sisters, please place yourselves and your children in His heart for a perfect protection, because Jesus’ heart is big enough to contain everyone.
AMEN!
