Baptism is very important in the lives of believers, especially new believers because of sins, the forgiveness of sins, convictions of sins, the promise of the Holy Spirit, and to receive a new heart. Romans 6:1-11 tells us, “We must be dead to sin and alive to God.” Please let go of the past. Out past mistakes, sins, and our hurt. In the Old Testament, God was with His people in the Ark of the Covenant, but in the New Testament, God is with us, we are His Temple. So, we must keep ourselves holy, pure, and undefiled.
Peter said, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. (Acts 2:38-41) (NKJV).
Again, the book of Acts 10: 43-44 says, “To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive “remission” (forgiveness, release of guilt) of sins.”
The Holy Spirit Falls on the Gentiles.
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.” And Peter commanded that they be Baptist because Baptism represents the whole conversion, notice that Philip Baptized the Ethiopian Eunuch.
It represents conversion to Jesus and union with Christ, to the family of Christ, the Assembly of Christ.
Please always remember your salvation and let go of your past, It is a public declaration that you belong to Christ.
Serve in your local Church which is an addition to the heavenly Assembly.
Please stick to your gifts and love one another with brotherly love, not looking out for yourself only, but for others. We are made to love others, and God, to have a relationship with God, to praise and worship Him. So, when we turn to God, His love overflows in our heart, and be transformed.
Jesus is calling us to His heavenly marriage, and His hands are stretched out towards you and I. Please take hold of His hands and tell Him you love Him because of the “High Price” (1 Corinthians 6:20; 1 Corinthians 7:23) He paid, buying us back from Satan’s territory.
Amen.
