Faith and believe.

Reason.

Jesus is the Door, the invitation is still open, and the Door is still open. Thomas did not believe it until he saw the Risen Savior, he wanted to put his hands into the wounds of Jesus for him to believe. I must see the nail pierced hands and feet, I must see the piercing on His side before believing.

Jesus said, Here I am, touch Me.

Do you genuinely believe? Do you want to see Jesus and His bruised body?

Brothers and sisters, the act of faith is our belief, faith is the first step.

The Bible tells us, “A week later His disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.” (vv. 26-27) (John 20:19-31). (NIV).

Place your hands in His hands, your heart in His heart, and for the sake of your enemies, place you and your family in the heart of Jesus, for His heart is big enough to contain everyone, and allow Him to teach you His ways.

Faith in general, consists of believing something on the testimony of another, and faith in God consists of believing something on the testimony of God.

Whatever God reveals is true and whatever right reason knows is also true.

A Scholar, Blaise Pascal once said. “It was not about the evidence one would have for believing that God did or did not exist. God, being infinite, cannot be known by reason alone.”

Faith enables a believer to understand further truths that could not be discovered through reason alone, It is through the heart we know the truth; God will move our hearts to know the truth because reason alone cannot lead one to Christ. The Holy Spirit moves our hearts towards Jesus, leads people to Jesus, there is but One Truth.

A Very God and a Very God, Who is near to us yet distant.

Whose love towards us is extremely intense, great is His love towards mankind.

Amen.
