The Lord is Our Stronghold.

Wilderness:

My beloved brothers and sisters, when one is moving forward in life, moving ahead in life, moving ahead in your calling, the Lord taking you to another level, the enemies will attack you, they will come against you. Suddenly you will be attacked from North, West, East, and South, even your friends, brothers, and sisters, sometimes your husband will come against you, will abuse, and hate you, but stand firm in the Lord. For mankind will surely despise you during your wilderness years.

Please pray with the Word and “cling onto the Lord.” (Jeremiah 13:11). For He is our Stronghold.

For example, Shortly after I moved from Surrey Canada to Austin Texas, I had so many attacks in my life. I lived with unknown witches, Goliaths, and evil spirits. The Lord later exposed the witches to me; they were generational four fathers from my husband’s side of the family. Their intention was to kill I and my three sons, for my prayers really tormented them, but the Lord, after a while destroyed all of them. A brother of mine also tried several years to destroy me but could not because of the Lord, he too was destroyed. The Lord revealed to me, in my dreams he laid on the ground greatly distressed surrounded by people, asking for forgiveness.

The Lord is the One who fights our battles and destroys all our enemies, but we must trust Him.

The book 1 Samuel 22:3-4 tells us, “David went to Mizpah in Moab and asked the king of Moab, would you let my father and mother come and stay with you until I learn what God will do for me? So, he left them with the king of Moab, and they stayed with him as long as David was in the stronghold.” (NIV). But Vv. 14-15 says, because Saul was trying to kill him, he was always in the stronghold.

Chapter 23:19-20 also says David was in strongholds. V. 24 also says David dwells in the wilderness, and Chapter 26:3 says David continued to dwell in the wilderness. (Strongholds).

Brothers and sisters, go down deep from your heart and pray to the Lord, always retreating to the stronghold just like David.

Where can you run to when your enemies try to kill you and your family? To your father’s house? To your Auntie’s house? How about the One who created heaven and earth? Your only True Living Father and God whose hands are always stretched out towards you and me.

Can you see Him? Please receive His hands and give Him a chance, please allow Him to take the driver’s seat in your life. Remember that He paid a “High Price” (1 Corinthians 6:20; 1 Corinthians 7:23) on our behalf with His shed blood, suffering, His bruised body—we are now His responsibility.

“Even though David continued to dwell in strongholds, he had an opportunity to destroy Saul but spared him because Saul was the Lord’s anointed.” 1 Samuel Chapter 24.

A stronghold is a defensive structure:

For example, when the Philistines heard that David has been anointed king over Israel, they went after him to kill him, but David went to the stronghold, (2 Samuel 5:17) to talk to the Lord, to cling onto the Lord.

For “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” (Psalm 9:9). “The God of Jacob is our Refuge.” (Psalm 46:7)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1-3).

He is our “Refuge and my fortress” (Psalm 91:2).

God is always willing to fight our battles because He will not go against His word. “The eternal God is our Refuge, and underneath are His everlasting arms, He will thrust out the enemies from before you, and say, ‘Destroy them!” (Deuteronomy 33:27).

This is one of my favorite chapters and verses I declare daily, and I encourage you to do the same.

-My testimony is that the Lord sent an army who bound, the hands and ankle of a witch, his back destroyed, then thrusted out to be destroyed.

-Once I was in India ministering, the Lord who sees and hears all things, sent an angel to chop an enemy who was monitoring me.

-Whilst ministering in Richmond Canada, I experienced spirit of fear, and the Lord said, I have received the Covenant of David. I was totally set free from spirits of fear. (I just say the word, and they disappear).

God’s word is alive and runs very swiftly, please pray with the Word.

We must also learn how to pour our hearts before the Lord. (Psalm 62:8) for He is always there for us in time of trouble, and trust in Him.

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.” (Proverbs 18:10). “For You have been a defense for the helpless, a defense for the needy in his distress.” (Isaiah 25:4)

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” (Psalm 18:2).

Brothers and sisters, whatever you are going through in life, please remember God is always there for you, He is our Refuge, our Stronghold in the day of trouble, in the day of distress. Go to a quiet place and pour your heart out to Him. For He loves you enough to send Jesus to carry the cross and was nailed on the cross whilst still alive. He will come through for you, but please be patient because His time is different from our time.

Scripture says, after you have suffered a while, the Lord will settle you, He will establish you, He will strengthen you and will perfect you. So please be (1 Peter 5:10)

You will surely be established after your wilderness years.

Amen!
