Brothers and sisters, God is Love, as children of the Most-High, we are required to love one another with the same love God has loved us, so much so that He sent Jesus Christ His Only Begotten Son to carry the Cross for the sake of love, for the sake of our eternal life, also, that we can have a relationship with Him-Our Father.
Love also covers a multitude of sin, Peter affirms. “Above all things, have a fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8). Do you believe the Word of God, that if you love people, your neighbors, even those who are jealous of you, it will cover a multitude of your sins “your many sins that are as red as scarlet, will be washed as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18) and as “far as the East is from the West, so far will your sins be from The Lord” (Psalm 103:12) and He will not remember them anymore. Thank You Lord.
Peter also advices us that “Given all diligence, add to your faith, virtue (high moral standards) let your friends, family and neighbors see Jesus in you, your character, letting the old man go, and letting the new man in. (Ephesians 4:22-24) to virtue, knowledge which is a gift from the Lord, to knowledge self-control, which is part of the Fruits of the Spirit, (controlling one’s anger, outburst of wrath) please ask the Lord to bless you with the Fruits of the Spirit, perseverance, (do not give up praying, knocking, seeking and asking) (Luke 11:9; Matthew 7:7). The Lord will answer your prayers, godliness (which reflects to the Kingdom of God, high moral standards) and brotherly kindness, to brotherly kindness, LOVE-Which is the bond of perfection, and well pleasing to the Father.
