Hold Someone’s Hands.

Jesus Heals Peter’s Mother-in-Law

Jesus left very early in the morning to a deserted place, where He prayed. Peter and those around him looked for Jesus, finding Him Peter said, “Everyone is looking for You.” But Jesus told them, “Let us go on to the nearby villages that I may preach there also, for this purpose I have come. So, Jesus went into their synagogues preaching and casting out demons throughout the whole of Galilee.”

As we have seen, Jesus showed great strength and courage by how He preached and delivered mankind from evil spirits, for His time in prayer gave Him access to strength, the fortitude that He needed to accomplish His mission.

Fortitude is the virtue that gives us strength, that helps us resist fear.

In this season of Lent, please hold the hands of someone that is weak, weak in the Lord, emotionally weak, no strength of mind, and no Will power.

Please speak courageous words and do not put anyone down, love and do not hate or gossip. For what helps us to be courageous is when we have support and are accountable to others. When our courage fails, the courage of others strengthens us, so please hold someone’s hand, and move forward with them.

Jesus took hold of Simon Peter’s mother-in-law; she got up healed and began to serve them.

“And He arose and left the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they appealed to Him on her behalf. And He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her, and immediately she rose and began to serve them.

Jesus Heals Many

Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him, and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.” (Luke 4:38-40) (ESV).

Jesus is our healer, the Natural physician, and that by His stripes we healed. Please receive your healing.

Amen!
