The LORD wants us to live a life that will enable the Holy Spirit work in our lives freely. Jesus said, I go to the Father and I will send the Holy Spirit to you. The Holy Spirit is present within us, all we need to do is reach out by faith. Most of us live such self-defeating lives that God never intended us to live.
Jesus said, “whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38). The Living water is the Holy Spirit. Is He flowing in you and throw you? Please give the Holy Spirit a chance, our Loving Father, Helper, Guide, Comforter, Teacher, our Constant Companion, and Mentor.
“Now the LORD is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty.” (access to God, freedom from bondage, freedom from darkness/captivity). (2nd Corinthians 3:17).
The spirit that is not of God is the spirit of bondage, the spirit of oppression and depression, hinderances, stagnations, barriers, divisions, hate and abuse. But the Spirit of God convicts us when we sin, and He is the Spirit of liberty. The LORD Almighty who created the birds never made birdcages, we are set free because of the finished work of Jesus on the Cross.
Most of us live a life of defeat and despair (complete loss or absence of hope) when there is no reason to do so, what we must do is, call on Jesus, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” Jesus is the giver of hope, the giver of life, the giver of peace, and the giver of joy and gladness. And (2nd Corinthians 3:6) affirms that “The Spirit gives life.”
“The first man Adam became a living being” the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit.” (1st Corinthians 15:45) “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36).
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Rom 8:14) He is our Father. “He will instruct us and teach us in the way which should go, and will guide us with His eyes.” (Psalm 32:8 declares it) He is the Spirit of truth, and when He has come, He will guide you into all truth.” (John 16:13). Hallelujah!
Brothers and sisters, please pray for the “Fruit of the Spirit to be deposited in you. “Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, (patience) gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” No condemnation. (Galatians 5:22-23).
Donald Grey Barnhouse declares that “Love is the key. Joy is love singing. Peace is love resting. Long-suffering (patience) is love enduring. Kindness is love’s touch. Goodness is love’s character. Faithfulness is love’s habit. Gentleness is love’s self-forgetfulness. Amen!
